Background

I have always been interested in all things 'New Age' for as long as I can remember.

My spiritual journey has spanned more than four decades, studying, reading and attending workshops wherever I could.

My background is in teaching, I am qualified to teach post 16 learners (adults) and used to teach full time at our local college, this entitles me to write and design my own courses.

My husband and I now run a lovely holistic gift shop in Weston-super-Mare selling healing tools, crystals, jewellery, books, inscense, resins, cd's, oracle cards, runes, angels, fairies, trolls elves, dragons, wolves and so much more.

It's like a bit of Glastonbury in Weston-super-Mare but with more affordable prices as I make so much of the stock myself whilst in the shop (see Handmade by Karen under the shop page). All of the crystal intentional jewellery and gifts are blessed with reiki and I also make many bespoke items for individuals specific needs/requirements.

I have a tranquil therapy room at the shop for my holistic therapies and a purpose built fully equipped training room too.

I now dedicate my time to my life purpose as an energy /space healer and teacher and creating healing jewellery/tools which I sell in the shop.

I feel privileged to be able to do what I love and love what I do...

My Spiritual Journey

In 1991 I went for a reiki healing session with a lady called Jackie and was so totally blown away that I wanted to learn more about it.
As luck would have it the Reiki Master who trained Jackie was coming over from Canada to do her Reiki Second Degree and was also running a level one workshop whilst here.

Holly (the Reiki Master) was trained by Phyllis Lei Furumoto the grand-daughter of Mrs Takata who herself was trained by Dr Hayashi who was trained by Dr Usui (the founder of Usui Reiki).
Holly returned in 1992 and I completed my second degree (practitioner level) with her too.

At the time I didn't realise how fortunate I was to have such a prestigious and short lineage back to Mikao Usui.
Back then I believed Reiki to be a beautiful healing system but it is much more than that, Reiki has changed my life so completely and has taken me on a wonderful transformational journey. I completed Third Degree a few years later - when I made the commitment to live and 'be' Reiki not just 'do' Reiki.

Reiki has taught me to listen and act on my intuition, connected me to the Angelic Realm, re-routed me whenever I strayed from my path, it has proved to me that we are all connected, that love is indeed all we need and intention is everything.

Over the years I have studied many other healing modalities and spiritual practices:- Angelology, Space Clearing, Crystal Healing and Chakra Balancing, Lemurian Healing, Angelic Reiki, Seichem, Angel Card Reading, Hopi Ear Candling, Indian Head Massage and more but Reiki was and is my first love.

I work with the Angels in everything I do, my life purpose is to teach love and compassion through my healing work and courses and to inspire others the way I have been inspired in my life..
